Chadd & Kristi Delivering Love, Smiles & Treats On National Do Something Nice Day

Yesterday was Do Something Nice Day! And what an amazing day it was at Tampa General Hospital!!

Like so many of you, Chadd & I have both been affected in our family by cancer. My mom passed away 19 years ago this month from breast cancer at the young age of 51. Chadd's mom is a survivor of both breast cancer and stage 4 colon cancer. And we've had countless other relatives with breast, ovarian and prostate cancer.  So, yesterday for Do Something Nice Day & in light of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to do something extra special for the patients in the Oncology & Infusion units at Tampa General Hospital, so we delivered bags of items that our loved ones found comforting during their treatments, as well as some treats to brighten their day like  mini bundt cakes and pizza certificates.

It was such an amazing afternoon being able to spend time with these courageous men and women--and the angels at TGH that take care of them every day.

We'd like to say a special thank you to these wonderful businesses that went so far above and beyond to help make this extraordinary day happen: our #bNice partners Stepp's Towing for helping us put together amazing care packages--and Hungry Howie's Love, Hope & Pizza and South Tampa's Nothing Bundt Cakes for providing the delicious treats.
