SMH: Some People Put Sunscreen On Their Eyeballs To Watch Eclipse

This is unbelievable. Apparently, there were people who were soooooo excited to watch the solar eclipse, but weren't able to get the special glasses, so they decided to improvise. According to Fox, there are health professionals in California and Virginia who reported treating people who actually put sunscreen directly on their eyeballs last week, thinking it would protect their eyes from any damage from looking directly at the eclipse without the NASA-approved glasses. They didn't say if any damage from their eyes was from the sunblock, gazing at the sun or a combination of both.
