Star-Studded Televised Hurricane Harvey Relief Benefit Set For Sept. 12th

HOUSTON, TX - AUGUST 30: Flooding continues to be shown near downtown Houston following Hurricane Harvey August 29, 2017 in Houston, Texas. The city of Houston is still experiencing severe flooding in some areas due to the accumulation of historic levels of rainfall, though the storm has moved to the north and east. A bunch of celebrities are getting together to raise money for all of those hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. So far, the only info that we have is that it will be broadcast from Los Angeles, New York & Nashville--and tentatively is scheduled to air on September 12th across all 4 major networks.

That's according to TMZ that reports that Jamie Foxx and Houston-native Hilary Duff (tentatively) will host in LA, with Reese Witherspoon and Blake Shelton in Nashville and Michael Stahan (also a Houston native) will handle things in New York. The show is being organized by Houston Rapper Bun B and Scooter Braun, who is well-known for managing performers like Justin Bieber. Most recently, he was in the news because of his association with Ariana Grande during that horrible terrorist attack at her Manchester concert--and he produced the benefit show for that tragedy.

So far, no time as been set for the event because they're still working out all of the logistics.
