Equifax Credit Monitoring Company Reveals Customer Info Hack

As if we didn't have enough to worry about right now, now there's a new information breach that could put millions of people at risk of identity theft.

Yesterday, Equifax, one of the 3 major U.S. credit monitoring companies, said that earlier this year they had an information breach that may have exposed a bunch of people's personal  info, including names, birthdates, driver's license numbers and social security numbers. It happened back between mid-May and July--and could affect as many as 143 million people.
