If you can gather you motivation it's very worth it to work out on Friday, finds a new study. University of Texas Southwestern tested mice and found metabolism was boosted for 48 hours after they exercised "semi-intensely." Lead researcher Dr. Kevin Williams explains, "Based on our results, we would predict that getting out and exercising even once in a semi-intense manner can reap benefits that can last for days, in particular with respect to glucose metabolism."
